One birth.Two births.HospitalAnd home births.

Water birth.

Cesarean birth.

Medicated birth.

Hypnobirth.

This one ended with a scar.

For this one I drove pretty far.

Say, what a lot of births there are.

Yes. Some are at the hospital.

And some are at home.

Some go to 42.And some come before they are due.

Some are OP.And some AP.And some are very, very transverse.

Why are some OP, AP, and transverse?I do not know.Go ask a nurse.

Some are teeny.And some are squishy.The squishy ones have rolls on their tooshie.

Here’s a mom who labored long.

She labored long and strong, at a birth center with postpartum mesh panties on.

Oh me, oh my!Oh me, oh my!What a lot of due dates go by.

Some go over two daysAnd some go four.Some go a weekAnd some go more.

When will their babies come? I can’t say.But I bet they’ll come when they’re on their way.

I see moms try.

I see moms cry.

Some transition fast.And some transition slow.

Some have epidurals.And some hypno.

Not one labor is like another.Don’t ask me why.Go ask your mother.

Today’s births are done. Today was fun.Tomorrow there will be another one.Every day,From here to there,Births are happening everywhere.
